After the sun went down the lights came up.
I had a lot of these shots in mind before I even left for the fair Friday night. I grabbed my tripod on the way out the door hoping for some great long exposure opportunities. I didn't think it would be an issue but I ran into the same problem I did while doing the lightning shots from a few weeks ago. There was too much ambient light. The street lights and other fair lights were blowing out the shots I was trying to get. I eventually got the setting nailed down and came away with a few shots that I was very happy with.
